Basic Berry Fruit Bowl

Hello Everyone,

so happy to be back here, sharing more recipes with you. Today, I will be showing you how to make a basic fruit bowl. A fruit bowl basically involves choosing around three to four of your favorite fruit, then chopping it up and adding it to your bowl.....yup that’s it!


As mentioned before my recipes will always be short and to the point because I believe it’s less of a hassle, kills confusion and it’s more convenient for a working individual.

The fruits used in this recipe included grapes, bananas, blackberries, strawberries and apple. This bowl was filled with nutrients and was a good source of natural fiber and antioxidants. Here’s a little run down on the fruits that are about to enter your body.



  1. Banana - Bananas are a good source of vitamin C, which protects your body against cell damage and tissue damage. It also contains magnesium which assist your body with making collagen and potassium which is good for your heart and regulating your blood pressure.

  2. Blackberries - Blackberries are filled with vitamin C which aids in the healing of wounds, removing free radicals and fighting colds. It is high in fiber a great source of vitamin K and supports oral health.

  3. Strawberries - They are high in fiber, which improves the digestive track and relives constipation. Strawberries are also filled with vitamin B9(folate) potassium and magnesium.

  4. Grapes - Grapes are good at reducing your cholesterol levels and lowering blood pressure. It also works against lowering blood sugar and prevention against diabetes.

  5. Apples - similar to the other fruits mentioned above, apples are packed with fiber and vitamins which aids in fighting free radicals. It also lowers bad cholesterol and assist in reducing strokes.

Now that we have a better understanding of the glorious benefits to not only fruit bowls but fruit in general, let’s get down to creating our delicious fruit bowl!


Recipe

1 Apple 1 banana

4 strawberries cored and cut in two halves

handful of blackberries

handful of grapes


Topping - 1 strawberry yogurt or any of your choice

Method

Care fully cut Apple in 4 halves removing all seeds, then slice and chop banana. Add banana and apple to a bowl. Add all remaining fruit to same bowl. Mix gently and spoon out about three heaps of yogurt onto the fruit.

Serve and eat Immediately.
