Lentil Fritters

Today I will be sharing my version of Lentil fritters. Lentils are great for boosting your metabolism and burning fat. They are also great for supporting hear health and carries essential vitamins and minerals. Lets get to the recipe.


Ingredients

2 medium potatoes (shredded)

2 garlic cloves (chopped)

1 onion (finely chopped)

2 tsp brags

6 tbs of all purpose flour

1 tbs of nutritional yeast

1 tsp parsley

1 tsp paprika

1/8 tsp sage

Dash of Cayenne pepper

salt to taste

Vegetable oil for frying



Method

Cook lentils according to package. When lentils are cooked add to a large bowl. Add brags, garlic, onion, paprika, parsley and sage and mix well. Continue with adding flour, nutritional yeast, cayenne pepper and salt to taste. Combine well.


Shape each scoop of batter into a ball with a spoon and place in non-stick pan. Fry until golden brown. Serves at least 10.
