2 tbsp. Canola oil 2 tbsp. Butter 1 Large Onion Small piece of Ginger 1 tsp. Chopped Garlic 1 1/2 tsp. Ground Curry 1/2 tsp. Cumin 1 tsp. Cinnamon 1 tsp. Turmeric 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
1 tbsp. Tomato Paste 1 can of Crushed Tomatoes or 4 Large tomatoes puréed 1 tbsp. Soy-sauce 1 tsp. Salt 1 tsp. Sugar Sprinkle of dried marjoram
Water if needed

Method
Add onion, garlic and ginger to a non-stick frying pan and stir fry for about 5 mins.
Add curry, cumin, cinnamon and turmeric. Mix spices well with onion.
Add tomato paste and sauce
Add can of crushed or pureed tomatoes to spiced onions. Stir well.
Add the salt, sugar and dried marjoram.
Let the sauce simmer for 10 mins on low-medium heat.
Serve immediately.
